Special Ed. teacher up above has a valid point there. It is necessary to integrate special ed. students into mainstream classrooms since it benefits them through having regular students model certain behavior to which they may learn from.

However, and I believe what Edrak was referring to, was the need to provide special ed. students with pull-out classes that are specifically designed to accommodate their special needs.

This is a necessity, not only for special ed. students but to any group of students who may be categorized as "different" from mainstream classrooms.

Take, for example, the facilitated Arabic curriculum within private schools for students whose dominant language is English despite being native-Arabic speakers. Without these facilitated classes, these students would severely lag behind regular students, academically first and then socially as well.

On those same grounds, special ed. students must be allowed the same benefits. Now I don't know what type of facilities public schools offer special ed. students in Kuwait, but if it's anything like what's offered to regular students, then it is deficient and has to be rectified.

On that same note - and speaking of children, who should be prioritized within perfect societies - there has to be a lookout for orphans and mentally challenged children within public institutions.

These kids are living within very poor conditions in terms of hygiene, nourishment, and proper care by supervisors. I am certain that many of them have spent their entire lives within these conditions and I think it's absolutely shameful, even for a third-world country like Kuwait.

Pay them a visit. You'll be shocked over what you'll see. We need heavy volunteering recruitment in those two fields, cuz officials simply do not care.
